Tuition Scholarships for St. Andrew School
St. Andrew School offers a limited number of tuition assistance scholarship
awarded on the basis of the following criteria:
- family need;
- the number of
children attending the school;
- the child’s willingness to make St. Andrew
School a quality place through his/her active involvement in the
curriculum and programs of the school;
- and the family’s commitment
to support the mission of the school and policies in the handbook.
Priority is given to children who are already attending the school,
and then to families who have children in the school and
are enrolling additional
siblings. Any child who receives financial aid from St. Andrew
School will be expected
to maintain an overall grade average of 2.5 (C+), have no
failing grades in any subject, and to obey the school rules. St. Andrew
School does
not discriminate
on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin regarding
financial aid.
An independent committee named by the principal determines
scholarships. No student or family names will be revealed
to the scholarship
committee who will
seek to make an impartial allocation of available scholarship
funds.
Our policy is to require that all families contribute
something toward their tuition; if a family finds this
impossible,
they should indicate
these circumstances
in their letter of application.
This form and all supporting data should be returned
to the principal in a sealed envelope. Scholarship
applications are due June 1 for the following fall
semester.
