Results from the 2010 Montana RC Challenge Competition!

On March 27, 2010, St. Andrew School in Helena hosted the second statewide Roman Catholic Challenge competition in Montana.

Over 70 students from Fifth through Eighth Grade on fifteen teams competed in the single day event for cash prizes ranging from $25 to $100 per student. Five St Andrew teams participated, along with teams from four other schools or parishes: Holy Spirit, Great Falls; Pretty Eagle Academy from St. Xavier; Valley of the Flower Parish, Belgrade; St. Mary's School, Livingston; and Catholic Homeschoolers from Helena.   

The competition winners were:

Division 1 (5th and 6th grades)


1st Place: The Archangels : Helena Home School:  Christine Kaiserski, Captain, Hanna Fischer, Sarah Kreamer, and Katherine Bell
2nd Place: Fighters for the Faith : Christian Palmer, Captain, Matt Smillie, Silas Clark, Anton Poelman
3rd Place: St. Cecilia's Instruments : Sarah Leslie, Captain; Jean Hampton, Erin McDuffie, and Josie Fortune
4th Place: The Guardians (Holy Spirit, Great Falls) Marihelen Held, Captain, Jennifer Lewis, Makayla Ochs, Nikki Voeller

Division 2 (7th and 8th grades)

1st Place:  The Patristics :  Jordan Mitchell, Captain, Cordell Andersen, Jack Palmer, and Steven Nistler
2nd Place:  Flames of the Holy Spirit (Valley of the Flowers – Belgrade) Timothy Osen, Jonathan Fuller, Keegan Meyer, Kylee Gamradt, Kaycee Laird, and Jacob Dickson
